Everything you’ve always wondered about dr doug.

1) First, yes, I am a for-real Doctor.

Not medical, my doctorate is a PsyD (Doctor of Clinical Psychology). During my career in providing therapy, I worked almost exclusively for non-profit organizations providing help to clients in trouble with the law.

2) Additionally, I’m a PTSD-disabled combat veteran of Vietnam. This project has been great therapy. That’s me on the left in the pic, with the dwindling hair line. I only remember the other guy’s name as Mouse.

Wanting a fun post-retirement project, I came up with one that combines my artistic bent and my need for reading glasses. I think it’s the perfect combination of art and necessity. And now you get to reap the benefits of my rambling mind.

P.S. I’m also an on air DJ at a radio staton in the San Francisco Bay area. KFJC 89.7 FM or KFJC.ORG. My show is on Tuesday from 2AM to 6AM Pacific Time (late Monday night). The station archives and streams all shows for two weeks so you can listen to me whenever you want, and wherever you are. I’m an OG rock ‘n’ roller, and do a show for the musically adventurous (read NO Top-40). I also have a Facebook presence at Dr Doug - KFJC.
